    Managed a team of 6 employees and 8 freelance producers, editors and graphic artists to provide all video production for this popular annual multimedia festival. Wrote, revised and approved scripts and treatments, gave notes on rough cuts and approved fine cuts of all Festival media. Also produced short documentary pieces.

  • NOVA: At the Edge of Space (PBS), producer, 2013
    Hour documentary for prestigious PBS series, about the mysterious electrical phenomena that lurk at the boundary between Earth’s upper atmosphere and the vastness of space. This popular show got a Nielson rating of 1.3 (better than average for Nova, and much better than average for PBS).
  • World Science Festival, producer, 2012
    Co-produced the Afterglow program about cosmic background radiation from the Big Bang. Served as the sole producer on the day of the show, making sure that everything happened as planned. Also, produced media for the show, including two well-received short documentary videos:

    • Building a Time Machine
    • Tuning Into the Big Bang
  • NOVA ScienceNOW (PBS), Senior Editor (2006- 2011)
    Responsible for hiring and managing a small team to provide final post-production for this popular and innovative PBS show, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson, which used cartoons and other unusual techniques to help explain difficult scientific concepts. Coordinated the integration of many different pieces into a coherent whole.
